CARA through the local councillors have been able to get the issue of the traffic lights (scheme approved several years ago) back on to the agenda - It was discussed at the local area meeting ..........13.Acton Area Committee – Environment and Transport Budget 2006/07

Councillor Brookes asked that item 5 (Uxbridge Road/Twyford Avenue traffic lights) on the 06/07 funding list be agreed as well as item 14 (Church Road to South Acton Estate).

Resolved:

i)Agreed to spend £5,000 on Harold Road and Wesley Road from North Acton Road.

ii)Agreed to spend £7,500 on Uxbridge Road/Twyford Avenue traffic lights.
