IMPORTANT POLICE NOTICE

Do you have an uPVC front or back door?

Are you sure your door is locked?

Just lifting the handle of the door does NOT lock the door.

PLEASE lock any uPVC doors using a key, even when you are in the house*. Burglars may be able to gain entry to your property causing little or no damage.

*Please keep your keys close at hand in case of emergency.

Another good idea is fit a letterbox cowl to prevent potential burglars fishing for keys through the letterbox.

We have seen a large increase in vehicle crime this month. Can you please ask your neighbours etc to make sure that their vehicles are secure and that nothing of value is left in them. If anyone would like some vehicle crime information to distributed please let me know and we will drop some off to you.
